Article 9/11

The article I read is talking about all the ceremonials they had today in remembrance of September 11, 2001. This article is to everyone, reminding them of the tragic event that happened that day and letting people know we still remember it and it will never be forgotten. I chose to read this article since today is 9/11 and  I think it is very sad what happened. Not only did it have a terrible impact on our country, it also consumed the lives of many innocent Americans. I knew about the different ceremonies and moments of silences before I read this article, but I wanted to know farther details. I did learn some new things such as 184 people were killed when the American Flight 77 hit the side of the pentagon. I also learned there were 40 people on board when the plane crashed in Pennsylvania and that the people on board were trying to fight back, leading to the crash. Also, the president and presidential candidates refrained from campaigning today so we could remember 9/11. I would like to know how many total people lost their lives on September 11, 2001.

Yeah 9/11 was sad and everything but I wonder when it will become "old news"? I wonder if there will ever be a time when people will just kind of forget it happened. I know that sounds mean and I don't believe it should be forgotten, but I think there will come a time when America no longer comes together to remember that horrific day. It's kind of interesting though to know that in future text books 9/11 will be included. I lived a major part of history. On a much lighther note, before I came to your blog I typed in kaylag and there was this blogpost that talked about a girl eating Twix ice cream and her friend snorting perhaps Cocaine and getting dog hair instead. Needless to say she puked and then the other girl puked up Twix ice cream. Yeah, just thought you should know.

Dude, I did the same thing. I typed Kaylag and got this crazy girls blog from 04. Sounds like dog hair and twix don't mix. 9/11 sucked. We need to move on, 7 years and we still act like it was yesterday, America is harder than that. We need to go blow up something in Iraq every anniversary of 9/11. It would make us feel better.

I think 9/11 is still 'news' because you guys are old enough to remember it happening and watching every detail on tv. I think as the years pass and students do not actually remember it, it will be viewed more as a historical event they only read about.

I am wandering when this day will become a national holiday. We get out of school for presidents' birthdays, but not to mark the day of the worst terrorist attack in our country's history?

That was a very interesting article on 9/11. We should all still be thankful that non of our family members were hurt in this incident.
