The article is informing people of the serious decline of ice in the artic areas. Researchers say it is at the second lowest level ever. This is showing how big of a climate change we are having and how bad global warming is affecting us. Not only is it having a major effect on us, but also on the polar bears who greatly rely on the ice. The animals are dying off fast because they can't get to normal food and our drowning in the water because there is not enough ice to stay on. Some polar bears have even resolved to cannibalism because they are so hungry. They say that these animals are becoming an endangered species and eventually may become extinct. Another thing is, they estimate in 5 years, there will be no ice whatsoever during summer. I read this article because I think it is scary how much global warming is affecting us and the animals. What I would like to know is, why are they not trying to do something more to help the polar bears?

As I sit here with a tear in my eye, I just can't help to think about those poor animals as well. Speaking of polar bears, did you see that one in a zoo in China that was green?

But I can't say I'm a huge advocate of the SAVE THE WORLD thing..but I do feel bad. I think the polar bears bother me more than anything else when it comes to global warming.
The people affected? Heavens no. Just save the bears and I'll be fine.
Alright, everyone who knows me knows I'm a treehugger! I've been warning people about global warming for years, and I think it's a shame that animals have to start ding for us to take notice.Plant trees, save the polar bears, we have to do something NOW, before we're next!
